Improve Your Concentration – 5 Unusual Ways
Concentrating at a certain task may sometimes become a horrible dream for you. You may, at times, become fed up and tired of trying to do it rightly and seek ways to improve your concentration. Yet, some people simply don’t find the way that actually works for them. There are many tips and techniques so frequently published in health-related articles. But the actual subject is to find the one working for you to improve your concentration at any given task. Here I am mentioning some of the unusual tips for you to make yourself better at focus-needy things.
1. Physical Activity
Physical exercises have a great importance. There are several studies supporting the idea that physical exercise has a lot to with your brain. So your mental health is positively affected by physical activities and exercises. Recent studies suggest that physical exercises are effective to improve your concentration.
So, if you are a lazy meandering cockroach and have most of your time spent in front of your computer desk or laptop, it is time to stand up and do some running or jogging things.
2. Make a Timetable
Yes. Make a timetable and paste it anywhere you mostly hang out. Prioritize things and divide them according to your preference. The important point is sticking, adhering and forcing yourself to follow the time table you have once made. This will make you more organized than you are at present and you can concentrate at tasks in a better way.
3. Reward Yourself
Rewarding is quite a fun thing. Do it the way that suits you. Get a packet of noodles and keep it in front of you at your desktop. Or select a movie for your “Wish list”. And then, adjure yourself
I solemnly swear that I am not gonna eat that pasta unless I finish the task underway
This strategy is useful in organizing your brain’s activity and you gather a better impact on yourself to improve your concentration.
4. Traveling is a Way to Have a Calmer Brain
You heard (oops…actually READ) it right. Leave your home-bound dull and nasty routine and just have a trip. Anywhere you may afford. Any place you like to see, visit, or stay. And believe me, this is the best way to stay with your OWN self. Your brain, this way, becomes much calmer and relaxed. Its hyperactivity decreases and you get quite a good time thinking what you really want to think. Actually, these brain-relaxing techniques are easier alternatives to meditation. You may just choose to go for a long-drive (as long as it relaxes your brain) and effects are pretty much the same.
5. Reduce your Social Networking Activity
Unfortunately, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and other social networking (addictive) websites have a very bad impact on your brain-focus matters. In order to improve your concentration, you need to make a FINITE slot of time for using these websites. Continuous activity on such websites may become a severe hurdle for you…and consequently become a career-threatening problem for you in future.
These are the lifestyle changes you can adopt in order to have positive, long-term and consistent health effects on your life. Our brain is a really tough guy. And you have to keep fooling it if you really want to keep it in your control. Medicines are not always the only choice.
